Series: Vikings have won all three meetings. This is the Texans second ever visit to Minnesota

The last Meeting: In week 16 of the 2012 season both teams were fighting for a playoff spot, but the Vikings defense registered 4 sacks, Blair Walsh nailed 3 field goals and the Vikings ground out a 23-6 win.

The Line: Vikings by 6½

Inside Info: The Vikings are riding high after another sharp performance on national TV, but now another key cog is down. Stefon Diggs is now out and the Vikings have to turn to other receiving sources. Look for Charles Johnson and Kyle Rudolph to have a bigger impact

Vikings win if: They need to get the running game going early. Without Stefon Diggs, look for Sam Bradford to connect with Kyle Rudolph even more. The defense will have to keep DeAndre Hopkins in check much like they kept Odell Beckham Jr. The defense must hit Osweiler and force him into mistakes

Texans win if: They keep the pressure on the offense to put points up. Osweiler

The Final Call: The Vikings are nothing if not resilient. The defense will keep the game tight and Bradford seems to do just enough to keep the offense moving. If this game was in Houston, the Texans might have a decided edge but the Bank is the edge and it’ll pay dividends with another tight win.
