Anyone who has played Fantasy Football for more than a couple of seasons knows that you should almost never take a quarterback in the first round, and in some cases even the second round. There are obviously some exceptions but depending on the depth of teams in your league, you are almost always going running back or wide receiver.

So below, we will take a look at the few exceptions that you might check out in the first round; assuming you pick late in the first round in your draft, or mid second round…

*Honorable mention to Russell Wilson. We do not know how he will look behind the Seahawks no-named offensive line. So … buyer beware.

Those are essentially the Top 5 quarterbacks that when you are setting your pre-draft board that should be at the very top. Statistically along with their TD/INT ratios, it makes the most sense. All five of these players will be set up for even more success than their already very successful campaigns in 2015.

Now we will look at the players that you should be looking later on after you stack your team with the necessary running backs and wide receivers it’ll take to do well in your leagues.

The sleepers… If you’re strapped and used all your resources already, here you go… you’re welcome…

There will be some mid tier guys that will be selected way too high in your leagues. If you miss out on one of the premier, top flight quarterbacks then you have your answer above. Those are the five guys that will still be around later on… unless you are in a 400 team league or something crazy like that.

*Author’s note: If you join a league, finish it. Don’t be the guy who quits midway through. It’s annoying. Have some fantasy etiquette.
